The Valencian company, focused in efficacy testing, closed 2019 financial year with a 21% increase in annual turnover, compared to 2018. In this way, the expectations set at the beginning of the year were fulfilled, thanks mainly to the increase in international business, which already accounts for 50% of the total, and the increase in turnover corresponding to clinical studies in volunteers.

At the end of the year 2019, the company has exceeded 1,500 products tested, as well as the 650 reports prepared, and offers a portfolio of studies with more than 130 references.
“The ongoing internal innovation and the development of new studies has consolidated our portfolio of studies in the market and allowed us to access new renowned international clients in the industry, enabling an increase in the total turnover of more than 20%. In addition to continuing with the in vitro and ex vivo part, being these the foundations of the company, the development carried out in the clinical part with volunteers has allowed us to triple the volume corresponding to this part of the services, with respect to the year 2018 . ”- says Business Development Manager, David González. “Customers who in the past only placed their trust for in vitro studies are already aware that they can count on us for the clinical part as well. The visibility provided by the new technologies Bio3D Structured-light Scanner and Bio Blue Light Scanner, as well as the incorporation of dermatological surveillance at the beginning of 2019, has helped a lot, and the market is responding very positively, both at the level of active ingredient and end-product. ”

After being present at Incosmetics Global Paris, Supplier’s Day New York, IFSCC Conference Milan, Cosmetorium Barcelona and Incosmetics Asia in Bangkok, the company will increase its participation; entering Cosmetic 360 Paris for the first time, which will take place in September. The possibility of participating in the NYSCC Conference in New York, which will take place at the end of the year, is also being evaluated.

“To face this growth and new developments, throughout the year 2019 we have hired 3 new people, who have been integrated in the laboratory and in the sales department. For this new year, we have planned the hiring of at least 2 new members, to strengthen the marketing department and continue with the internal innovation, which will be added to the 14 current members of the workforce. ”- comments the Manager and Scientific Director, José Luis Mullor.
